Itโs November and Christmas is just around the corner. I know Iโm not the only one, who wants to get the most out of the holidays. Therefore, I have written this bucket list, to get you in the Christmas mood!
Go Ice Skating
Many countries have the perfect weather for an ice skating rink, and itโs the funniest thing to do with your friends, family or your partner.
Build A Snowman
If itโs snowing, you should definitely put on warmth clothes, gloves and a scarf and get out there and build a snowman! And to top it off, make a snowball fight!
Read a Christmas Book
Thereโs so many Christmas books out there waiting to be read, so what are you waiting for? I would recommend a classic: A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
Make A Gingerbread House Competition
The hours are gonna run by when you gather your loved ones to make gingerbread houses, and itโs always fun to make it into a competition.
Make Eggnog or Glรถgg
Thereโs nothing better than cozying up inside in the warmth with hot chocolate, an eggnog or glรถgg. Not everyone knows what glรถgg is, but it is warm, sweet wine with spices - perfect if you donโt want a thick drink.
Go Christmas Caroling
What better way to get in a Christmas mood than singing Christmas songs? And then cheering others up while doing it?
Host A Christmas Party
Gather your family and friends and host the Christmas party of the year. Dress up nice, make some delicious Christmas food, drinks and have the guests buy a little gift or two, that you can make into a game: The game is in two rounds. The first round you place all the gifts on the table and you have one dice that goes around the players. Each player has to roll the dice and if you get a six you get to take a gift. When all the gifts have been taken, second round begins. In the second round you put on a timer, and itโs up to you how long you want the round to go on for. But you put on the timer and you all go rolling the dice again on turn, and each time someone rolls a six, you get to steal a gift from one of the others. When the timer stops, no one can rolle the dice, the game ends and the people gets to keep the gifts they won.
Do A Christmas Puzzle
Buy a big Christmas puzzle and watch the hours pass by!
Visit A Christmas Market
Thereโs so many Christmas Markets and itโs filled with Christmas spirit! So many different stalls with food, Christmas ornaments and so much more.
Write Christmas Cards
Writing Christmas cards was something we often did, but know that we all have smartphones and computers, itโs easier to get in contact with people in that way, and the tradition of Christmas cards have minimized. But trust me, writing a heartfelt Christmas cards to your loved ones, will mean more to them thank you think, so why not do it?
Thanks for reading along, and I hope you got inspired.
Until next time,
Beila.
